Dan's Construction and Repair Blog

Hello! My name is Dan and this is my construction and repair blog. I don't work in the industry myself, I have recently used a lot of different contractors during the construction of my home. Construction contractors used machinery to dig and lay the foundations for my home before the walls and trusses where installed. A roofing company installed a metal roof and contractors installed plumbing and electrical utilities. I was very impressed with the results and I learnt lots of cool things during the completion of this project. This blog contains information which will be useful to other people who plan to work with construction contractors.

Data Cabling Tips to Upgrade Your Gaming

MMORPG gaming relies on several key points in order to ensure you are getting the best quality for your experience. This is especially true if you do a large amount of group activities like raiding and dungeons. This means you not only need quality graphics, but solid cabling as well to ensure your connection is stable with no interruptions. Here are a few tips for data cabling to upgrade your gaming experience.

Consider the Distance

The first tip is to consider the distance your data cabling will need to travel. In most cases, the distance will likely be the length of the computer room. However, in some cases, you may have a much longer distance. This is especially true if you are networking severa computers in the home or building. Cat5e will be suitable for shorter distances. However, if you are connecting to the network from across the house or from a different level of the home, then Cat6e may be better for you since Cat6e handles longer distances with fewer issues.

Proper Router for Your Device

You need to make sure that your router is not only good for your devices or devices, but also for the cabling you plan on using. This means, if you are connecting multiple devices, you would want a router that can handle multiple devices as well as Cat6e data cable to handle the extra strain and stress on the networking system. Keep in mind, if you plan on doing heavy gaming for longer hours, you may want to get a router that is designed for gaming. This ensures that the router can handle both the additional strain and the cabling equally without giving more attention to one or the other.

Fiber Optic Options

Though you can use Cat5e and Cat6e cables, if you are working towards a goal of becoming a professional gamer and joining a league, you may want to go a bit higher with your cabling. For this reason, looking to a fiber optic data cabling and network may be more ideal. This will likely require the use of a professional electricians, but it will give you a competitve boost. That competitive boosts can play greatly into your actions within the game and how quickly they are executed once the command is sent.

These are just a few of the tips to help upgrade your gaming with your data cabling. If you plan on networking several computers in your home, consider contacting a professional electrician from companies like Holdens Electrical Contracting to help with the cabling. This will ensure each computer on the network receives the same quality of connection.
